Manufacturing Intelligence. In Motion.
Your Factory. Connected. Intelligent. Optimised.
Qynetic is a modular, multi-tenant manufacturing intelligence platform. It is designed to connect machines, metrology, quality systems, tooling, planning, maintenance and enterprise systems, and to move a factory from connected and visible toward predictive and self-correcting — safely.
Qynetic is in early development. This page describes the intended design; capabilities marked as planned are not yet generally available.
Connect. Understand. Predict. Optimise.
01
Connect
Normalise data from machines, inspection devices and enterprise systems into one canonical model, with provenance.
02
Understand
Explain what is happening — quality drift, OEE losses, tool condition — with evidence.
03
Predict
Anticipate what happens next, such as tool replacement or capability loss.
04
Optimise
Recommend the best action, and act only within validated, human-authorised limits.
One platform, modular by design
Quality, APC, Tool Manager, CIM, OEE, Planner and Maintenance are modules of a single platform, coordinated by Factory Director.
Qynetic Factory Director
Factory Director is the orchestration layer of Qynetic.
Foundation in progress
Qynetic Quality
Qynetic Quality computes process capability (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk), SPC control charts and drift indicators from measurement history, and correlates them with machine, tool, article, program, material and batch..
Planned
Qynetic APC
Qynetic APC is designed as a closed loop: manufacture, measure, analyse, calculate, validate, compensate, verify.
Planned
Qynetic Tool Manager
Tool Manager tracks tool identity, position, usage, offsets and wear.
Planned
Qynetic CIM
CIM manages articles, drawings, revisions, characteristics, inspection methods and frequencies, operator instructions and the electronic device history record (EDHR), with strict revision control..
Planned
Qynetic OEE
Qynetic OEE calculates availability, performance and quality and aims to explain where losses come from — faults, waiting, setup, tool changes, cycle-time loss, micro-stops, reduced speed, scrap, rework, inspection delay and process instability..
Planned
Qynetic Planner
Planner is designed to plan production against real machine capability, tooling, quality state, maintenance windows, materials and inspection capacity, and to adapt plans as conditions change..
Planned
Qynetic Maintenance
Maintenance covers assets, alarms, failures, service history, preventive and predictive maintenance, spare parts and downtime, with scheduling aligned to production..
Planned
Qynetic Factory Memory
Factory Memory is structured manufacturing knowledge that links article, machine, program, tool, process, measurement, quality, intervention and result.
Planned
AI may reason. AI must not control machines.
Qynetic separates AI reasoning from validated engineering algorithms, simulation, a policy guardian and deterministic control. Anything outside authorised limits needs human approval. Read how AI can be used safely in manufacturing.
Common questions
- What is Qynetic?
- Qynetic is a modular, multi-tenant manufacturing intelligence platform. It is designed to sit between machines, metrology, quality systems, tooling, planning, maintenance, enterprise systems and AI, and to turn their data into understanding, prediction and safe optimisation.
- What problem does Qynetic solve?
- Manufacturing data is fragmented across machines and systems, so causes that span domains — for example tool wear causing dimensional drift — are hard to see. Qynetic normalises that data into one model and surfaces the most important issues with evidence.
- How does Qynetic work?
- Connectors, running in the cloud or in Qynetic Edge inside the factory network, ingest data from machines and systems and normalise it into canonical events and entities. Modules and specialised agents analyse that shared context, and Factory Director prioritises the results.
- What systems can Qynetic connect to?
- The architecture is vendor- and protocol-neutral. It is designed around connectors for protocols such as MTConnect, OPC UA, MQTT, REST, GraphQL, webhooks, Modbus TCP, databases and file imports, and for systems such as CNC machines, PLCs, CMMs, vision systems, ERP, MES, QMS and PLM. Individual connectors are delivered over time.
