Qynetic Quality
How does Qynetic Quality work, and how does it help improve Cpk?
Qynetic Quality computes process capability (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk), SPC control charts and drift indicators from measurement history, and correlates them with machine, tool, article, program, material and batch. It does not improve Cpk by itself: it shortens the path from a capability problem to its cause.
The problem it addresses
A capability index tells you a process is poor but not why. Without correlation to tooling, programs, materials and process parameters, improving Cpk means guessing.
How it works
- 1Measurements are stored with the characteristic, drawing revision and instruction that were active at the time.
- 2Capability and control limits are computed with deterministic, automatically tested algorithms — not by a language model.
- 3Drift and mean shift are detected early and linked to candidate causes such as tool wear or a program change.
- 4Quality events and inspection strategies are connected to the production history in Factory Memory.
Capabilities
Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk
Short-term and long-term capability, with the gap between them used as a drift signal.
SPC and control charts
Individuals charts and run rules to separate normal variation from real change.
Drift and mean shift
Trend detection that flags a process moving toward a specification limit before it produces scrap.
Correlation
Statistical links to machine, tool, article, program, material, batch, temperature, offset, operator and campaign.
Designed to connect to: CMM · Optical and vision inspection · SPC systems · Gauges and manual measurement entry. Integrations
Common questions
What is the difference between Cpk and Ppk?
Cpk uses short-term, within-subgroup variation; Ppk uses the overall variation across the whole period, so it includes drift and shifts. A high Cpk with a much lower Ppk means the process is capable in the short term but its mean is moving.
Are the capability numbers calculated by AI?
No. Capability, control limits and trend statistics are computed by deterministic code with automated tests. AI is used to reason about and explain the results, not to produce the numbers.
