What is Qynetic CIM (Control Instructions Manager)?
CIM manages articles, drawings, revisions, characteristics, inspection methods and frequencies, operator instructions and the electronic device history record (EDHR), with strict revision control.
Status: planned. Qynetic is in early development. This page describes the intended design; capabilities marked as planned are not yet generally available.
What problem does it address?
In regulated manufacturing it must never be ambiguous which drawing revision or instruction was active for a production record.
How does it work?
- Every measurement and production record references the exact revision and instruction in force.
- Revisions are immutable once released; changes create new revisions.
- Traceability from article to batch to measurement is preserved.
What does it connect to?
PLM, ERP, QMS, Inspection devices. Connections are made through vendor-neutral connectors; see integrations.
